Pathways Counseling and Growth Center Lorain County's only not-for-profit, faith-based counseling facility,providing quality counseling to children, adolescents and adults since 1981.

Pathways, Lorain County's only not-for-profit, faith-based counseling facility, has been providing quality counseling in Lorain County for over 40 years to children, teens and adults, often on a sliding-scale based on a client's ability to pay. Our Mission is to provide body, mind and spirit-centered psychological counseling services so that individuals, couples and familes can develop their full potential

The Center consistently rates at or above 95% in health care reviews and audits, including client satisfaction surveys. Pathways is able to offer counseling services to privately-insured individuals as well as Medicaid clients. In addition, we are providing in-person and Telehealth services.

EMDR THERAPY NOW AVAILABE

We are excited to be able to provide EMDR therapy with Brittney Lindway. Brittney is a Certified EMDR Therapist through The Institute for Creative Mindfulness!

Intake and prior insurance verification is required.

What is EMDR?

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a psychotherapy that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences.

The most widespread use of EMDR is for treating post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Clinicians also use it in the treatment of the following conditions: Anxiety disorders: Generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, phobias and social anxiety/phobia.
