What is Tabata named after? What is it?

Tabata was created in the 1990s and is named after its inventor, Dr. Izumi Tabata.

It is a high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout that involves alternating between 20 seconds of intense exercise and 10 seconds of rest

Great job to all participants who attended our fun Tabata class this evening, where we incorporated a Bender Ball into our workout! This was one of our exercises.
