I recently read a quote about what Reiki is. "Reiki is not just a practice for healing the body; it is the art of filling the soul with light, transforming the heart with compassion, and guiding the mind to peace." Very well put.

I had this joke on my phone a few days ago and had to share it.So these friends were together on a sofa and the one woman said '' I heard that the more colorful a salad is the healthier it is. So I traded out my croutons for M & M's!!!
I loved that since I am a big salad eater.
In this day and age with all that is going on in the world, I try to laugh because if I don't I'll be crying.

Hi folks, just came back from my training on Japanese Facial Massage and of course experienced it as well!! Wow what an awesome therapy.
It includes hot towels, acupressure to relieve pressure in the face and neck which leads to TMJ, sinus issues and migraine headaches. The process includes rollers made of precious stones and uses either honey or maple syrup which are both very healing to the skin and underlying structure of the face, neck shoulders and decollate.
My skin glowed after and felt amazing, which was also witnessed by my friends whom I play Ma Jongg with every Sunday (the day I came home from the training).

Today was my first day volunteering at The Sanctuary at Haafsville.
It is all cats about 50 or so and I enjoyed being around these beautiful creatures.
I lost my cat Mitzi New Years day, she was 18 1/2 years old and I rescued her as a kitten.
She was ill for the last 3 years suffering from a condition known as hyperthyroid.
I miss her terribly.
I think anyone who is fond of animals if they have any time on their hands it is a good way to serve our community and is definitely a great cause!!
