I know it’s hard not to jump in and offer advice when someone you care about is struggling. Believe me, I am certainly guilty of it myself at times. But what people really need to know during difficulty is that you love and accept them. Hold space for them by allowing them to vent, even if what is coming out of their mouths sounds totally unreasonable. They just need to release everything that’s been clogging their energy and keeping them from thinking clearly. Also, please remember, if the person is dealing with depression, your well-meaning advice may actually cause them more overwhelm and despair because it’s just not something they are physically or mentally capable of in that moment. When I was recently dealing with a life event that threw me into a tailspin, a dear friend said to me: “You know I’ll always be Team Eva.” I cannot begin to tell you how much that meant to me. In that moment, I knew she had my back, and that’s all people need during challenging times … to know someone is on their team. ❤️💯🥰

The song, Masterpiece, by Jessie J was introduced to me many years ago by a wonderful teacher, Dr. Maria Sirois. At the time, I’m pretty sure I just wanted to get to my masterpiece … whatever that may have been in the moment. What I have learned since then, however, is the real gift is remaining perfectly incomplete. From this space, we’re in a constant state of learning and growing. We are open to the flow of life and the many unexpected twists and turns it brings. It took me a long time to find contentment in being perfectly incomplete, but in doing so, each day has become my masterpiece!

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted here, but with good reason … last weekend our haven for women, Soul Sisters’ Studio, opened its doors in the charming town of Emmaus! Downstairs is a boutique featuring items by women artisans and women and family-owned business, and upstairs is a space perfect for classes and one-on-one sessions. As soon as I saw this post by , I thought of Soul Sisters’ Studio! Only a couple years ago, Lynn and I realized we shared the same dream of creating a space where women could nurture their souls. Every time we talked about it, our vision grew, until last year when I looked at her and said, “it’s time.” The synchronicity of events that occurred after that were almost magical, and here we are, a few months away from opening our creative collective! The studio will have a boutique downstairs filled with items to enhance and beautify everyday life, and upstairs will be a space for classes and one-on-one sessions. We are so grateful to our husbands, family, and dear friends who continue to support our journey. For us, 2022 is truly a year to create, connect, and flourish!

It is in the waves of change that I have found MY true direction! Over the coming months, you will begin to notice some restructuring as I step into my role as owner and co-founder of Soul Sisters' Studio in Emmaus, PA. I will continue to offer my current services, but through the studio, I am also blessed to provide women with the opportunity to share their unique gifts, talents, and passions with others. I am not on this journey alone, and so grateful for the women who walk beside me. It truly is a creative collective.
