We had a great time trying out a new activity this week- bean bag baseball! Residents took turns throwing the beanbags to "hit" and by the end of the game, had figured out how to "hit" a home run!

One of our favorite activities is 'Food Fun' with residents trying their hand at making Crab Rangoon Rolls in our most recent one. These delicious treats were served at Tea Time and enjoyed by all! Thank you to the kitchen staff for helping with this activity!

Residents tried a new activity today, Whack-A-Mole! Administrator Dawn Runksmeier graciously volunteered to be the mole...We could hear staff and resident laughing all through the building! What a fun activity!

Tenants celebrated Fr. Paul Kelly's last Catholic Service last week at Emerald Oaks Independent & Assisted Living before heading to his retirement. Tenants gathered around as he did his homily, communion, and sang beautiful christian songs playing with his guitar and an amazing singing voice. Fr. Kelly had a wonderful time over 40 years as a catholic priest preaching christian goodness and faith. Tenants prepared a small gift for him as a 'Thank You'. On behalf of all of our tenants and staff, we wish Fr. Kelly a 'Happy Retirement!'
