Grab your furry friend and join us! All proceeds go to support People for Pets in Spencer Iowa!
Bring your own pup or walk with one of the beautiful shelter dogs, and your $20 donation will go directly top caring for and rehoming our shelter animals!

Lace up your running (or walking) shoes and bring your love for animals to our Whisker Walk 5K supporting People for Pets in Spencer, IA!
📅 Date: Wednesday, September 3rd
📍 Location: Iowa Lakes Community College in Emmetsburg
⏰ Time: 6PM
All proceeds go directly to helping homeless pets find their forever homes. ❤️
✨ Family-friendly event – strollers, wagons, and leashed pets are welcome!
✨ Two wading pools will be located along the route as well as snacks and refreshments
👉 No need to register…just show up with your $20 registration fee (held in the gymnasium)
Can’t make it? You can still help!
We gladly accept monetary donations or supplies to care for the animals. Our most-needed items are:
• Paper towels
• Dawn dish soap
• Wet dog food
• Wet cat food
• Tide detergent
• Dog treats
• Cat treats
• Squeaky toys
