The Emmett Valley Friendship Coalition has been closely watching the potential for more people coming to us for food.
We know there are hundreds of households in Gem County who may be impacted by the government shutdown — those who receive SNAP (Food Stamps), as well as some government employees not being paid.
Our challenge is to move forward cautiously to ensure we are in a position to serve any and all of our community members who may need our help.
We appreciate your concerns and support for those in our community.
At this point, every $1 or can of food donated is appreciated. Community support allows us to fulfill our motto, "We Feed People."

As every Tuesday, the Friendship Coalition will be open for business today at 719 S. Johns Ave ... the pantry from 3:15 - 6 pm serving those whose last names start with letters L-Z ... dinner from 5-6:30, eat in or take out.

🦃 Let us make your Thanksgiving dinner. If you or if you know someone in need of a warm Thanksgiving meal please give us a call at 208-398-5151 or come to the Center, 115 South McKinley Ave to get on the list.

🦃 We do deliver these meals to you. Deliveries will start at 2 pm on Thanksgiving Day.

🦃 We will start taking names on Monday October 27th.
