Modesto Milling gained its first organic certification from Oregon Tilth in January 1998, becoming the first organic grain processor in Central California. Ninety-nine percent of the ingredients we use are organic or naturally mined products. We take pride in the fact that our clients regularly tell us how our products have increased their animals and birds' health, wellbeing and production. Our sucess comes from using the finest ingredients and working with our customers to develop the optimal formulations for our feeds. Most products are available in 25 and 50 pound bio-degradable sacks, one-ton totes or by the truck load.

Our Story

We take pride in the fact that our customers regularly tell us how Modesto Milling feeds increased their animals and birds’ health, feather & fur condition, production and activity level. We make changes to formulas based upon our customer comments and needs. Customers regularly have custom formulated feed mixes for their individual feed needs. We package in 10lb, 25lb, 50lb, 2000lb Totes and Bulk amounts.

Customers are the main idea driver in creating relevant and practical formulations. We focus on making feeds for health and longevity. Families are deciding to grow more of their own food. They are wanting something more than what commercial agriculture offers. Modesto Milling feeds do not follow typical least cost, minimum requirements of commercial bag feeds.
