My Story. CuppaShroom is a captivating tale that encompasses both triumphs and tribulations. It all commenced with a seed of an idea and a series of fortuitous events that propelled me towards the creation and ex*****on of what promises to be one of the most remarkable mushroom coffee brands.
My personal journey began when I started incorporating seven distinct functional mushrooms into my daily routine, blending them seamlessly into my smoothies or pairing them with my coffee. On the sixth day, a remarkable epiphany struck me – the concept of a canned beverage infused with functional mushrooms and coffee. Thus, CuppaShroom was born. This revelation was attributed to the mushrooms' uncanny ability to dispel the mental haze that had inexplicably engulfed me. Gradually, I noticed an array of subtle changes, such as reduced stress, diminished anxiety, and an overall uplifted mood accompanied by restful nights of sleep.
Pondering upon the factors that set this period apart, the prominent catalyst that surfaced was undoubtedly the incorporation of these functional mushrooms. They say timing is everything, and serendipitously, I happened to have a friend who possessed the potential for a fruitful partnership, a catalyst for transforming this canned drink from a mere concept into a tangible reality. After meticulous research and comprehensive business planning, I shared my idea with him, and his unequivocal enthusiasm for it was truly infectious. Given his extensive experience in the beverage industry over the past eight years and his proven track record of transforming fledgling brands into national successes, it became unequivocally clear that he was the perfect collaborator. The decision was an absolute no-brainer. Some of you know him as Loren Laguens.
At present, we find ourselves engaged in the meticulous process of formulating this groundbreaking beverage. In approximately four to five weeks from June 3, 2023, our concoction will be ready, allowing us to proceed with the canning process and adopt pasteurization methods that ensure optimal shelf life.
Our vision entails crafting a 12-ounce, sleek, tall aluminum can, befitting a cold brew-style coffee drink. Conscious of our environmental impact, we strive to leave a minimal footprint on this planet. After all, the well-being of our surroundings is intrinsically linked to the well-being of each individual, motivating us to contribute to a healthier, more sustainable existence for all.
In today's world, we can unanimously agree that safeguarding our health is of paramount importance. That is precisely why I am bursting with anticipation to introduce this new health-conscious beverage to the world. Never before have I felt such unwavering confidence in a product that offers a comprehensive solution for overall well-being.
The seeds of my story were sown in the picturesque East Coast town of Little Compton, RI, where I spent my formative years playing in the woods with friends, biking through the town's quaint streets, and relentlessly seeking opportunities to surf or engage in competitive sports. A perpetual yearning for year-round sunshine ultimately led me to the stunning shores of San Diego, where I would spend the next 17 years of my life. During this time, I immersed myself in various professions, ranging from working in restaurants and valeting to sales, emergency medical technician (EMT) services, and volunteering as a firefighter—an endeavor that had initially drawn me to California. In 2012 and 2013, when San Diego was plagued by devastating wildfires, I found solace in the structure and discipline these circumstances demanded, virtues that would prove invaluable in my future endeavors. Eventually, the entrepreneurial bug bit me, prompting me to bid farewell to the firefighting world and embark on a career in commercial real estate. For four years, I specialized in selling properties for a startup brokerage firm, focusing primarily on CVS, Walgreens, and Rite Aid locations across the nation. Subsequently, I transitioned into residential real estate in La Jolla and the surrounding areas, as my sociable nature thrived on connecting with people—a driving force behind my career shift.
Ever the visionary dreamer, I have learned the art of swift ex*****on. Today, I humbly seek your assistance, hoping that one day, I can reciprocate your support by making meaningful contributions to society that benefit humanity as a whole. Our grand ambitions for CuppaShroom extend to reaching the pinnacle of success, but we are equally driven by the desire to effect positive change along the way. To that end, I aspire to establish diverse organizations that champion causes close to my heart. I have always nurtured aspirations of giving back in ways that transcend conventional norms, allowing me to make a profound impact.
