Fat lasts longer than HA fillers, you can have as many syringe equivalents as you need, and it creates more natural results than synthetic fillers. Because the fat is your own, it integrates beautifully into your face, creating soft natural contours. We take your fat from where you don’t want it and inject it like a filler into where you need it, in this case in the face. The fat cells live in their new home for many years. This beautiful client was frustrated with the deep expression lines around her lips, which created scar-like depressions. We were able to address her concerns with some filler. The artistry of filling the lines around the mouth involves paying attention to maintaining the normal anatomy of the lips and not creating a bulky, protruding upper lip otherwise known as duck lip.
