Which is kind of a waste (but also probably fun) because tomatoes are so good for you.

They’re a top source of lycopene, an antioxidant linked to a lower risk of heart disease and cancer.

☀️This challenge couldn’t be simpler:

Find a comfortable (and quiet) place to sit. Set a timer for 5 minutes, and sit still, focusing on your breath.

Every day this week.

You can have your eyes open or closed — or you can follow a set pattern to breathe (in-out for 4-5 counts each) or breathe normally.

When you notice your thoughts start to jump around, let them go and refocus your attention on your breath (it’s normal for your mind to wander).

✅There are too many benefits to count — but this week, let’s just focus on how calm and relaxed you feel afterward!

🔥There are a lot of ways – and reasons! – to add flaxseed to your diet!

The reasons: They are loaded with healthy fats, fiber, vitamins, and minerals that may help protect your heart, lower your risk of stroke, improve digestion, and lower cholesterol.

Plus, flaxseed has been proven to help lower blood pressure … and it might also help lower your blood sugar, too.

It also contains lignans, which may help prevent certain cancers (prostate & breast).

✅Sprinkle some over your salads … into your oatmeal, smoothies, or casseroles … or add them as a binder for meatloaf.

NOTE: be sure to use ground flaxseed (or flax meal), as whole flaxseed can be hard to digest and you won’t get as much benefit.

We have been doing a LOT of organizing in the kitchen this month...

And this week we are going to tackle perhaps the hardest job yet.

👉Your challenge: Getting your reusable/Tupperware containers (and their lids!) organized.

Related: also make sure that your plastic containers are BPA-free.

♻️You can tell by looking at the recycling stamp on the container: If you see a 1, 2, 4, 5, or 6, you can assume it’s BPA-free.

Plus … while you’re at it, you might want to consider glass containers.

With glass, you don’t have to worry about hazardous plastics. Plus it lasts longer, doesn’t stain, and won’t affect the taste of the food you are storing.

😂You KNOW we’re going to need to see some before and afters on this one!
