Today is a very special day—my “birth” day and my daughter’s birthday. 🎉✨ Every year, this day reminds me not just of the gift of life, but of the journey that brought me to where I am today.
If you haven’t heard my story—it’s not the cute, easy-to-put-a-bow-on “because I just love babies” type of path. This work is about the deep stuff, the real, messy, transformative work—and that’s exactly why I do it.
This work- serving women and families has always been my highest calling. It’s the work that transformed my own suffering into service, and it’s how I get to impact generations—helping to stop cycles of generational trauma by ensuring women, mothers, and families feel truly supported from the very beginning.
My path here wasn’t straightforward. I became a dietitian through my own eating disorder recovery, learning firsthand what it means to heal and nurture the body. Eventually, I found lactation—because I realized that if we could start at the very beginning, supporting mamas and babies to be attuned and connected, we could prevent a lot of suffering before it even begins.
Every session I support- whether I’m able to support someone through their own recovery, help them feel less stress about feeding their babies or know how to nourish themselves better- feels like a ripple of care that extends far beyond the moment. This work isn’t just my job—it’s my purpose, my way of giving back, and my way of honoring life itself. 💛
Happy birthday to my little inspiration, my daughter. You remind me every day why this work exists.
