I’m here for you who feels stuck in your workout routine and crappy in your body thinking, “I’m too young to feel this way.” You want to be intentional about how you take care of yourself. You want to golf, hike and ski at a competitive level well into your older years without even questioning it.

Hi friends! I would like to introduce myself to all of our new followers! I’m Katie, the founder of Balanced by Katie: Physical Therapy, Yoga & Wellness, Inc.! 👋 ⁠ Right now I am the sole provider at BBK with a goal of building a team here in Columbus!

Like most of us, I’m here to share my gifts and live out my passions. And truly enjoy life! My gifts are natural athleticism, curiosity, and a drive to go above and beyond to help others. Put those together and you have a Doctor of Physical Therapy always up for outdoor adventure and play. 🤸🏻‍♂️ 🌲 🌊

In the first 7 years of my career I was struggling to feel like a successful PT because I was stuck in environments (insurance based PT clinics) that didn’t allow me to utilize my expertise and REALLY help people the way I knew they needed.⁠

Spring Clean Your Limiting Beliefs! 🧹

And get into action! 💪

A patient came to me after back surgery 10 years ago, told by his doctor at 36 that golf was off the table.

Fast forward a few months of private in home PT including:
✔️ specific stretches for his body
✔️ targeted core exercise progressions
✔️ rotational yoga mobility

NOW he’s pain-free, squatting & deadlifting, teaching his 6-year-old to ski, and playing tennis & pickleball.

But... he still doesn’t think he can golf. I’m about to prove him wrong. 🙌

The gift I give my patients is a “can do” attitude. Our bodies are adaptable, and we can train for any activity at any age. I’ve treated people into their 90s who never said no to a safe challenge. That’s the magic of believing in what’s possible.
