Hallelujah 🙏🏻
What I see most often is that it’s these small, consistent shifts that start to change how you feel day to day.

Less symptoms.
More ease.

What’s one you’re celebrating right now?

An autoimmune diagnosis doesn’t mean you’re stuck feeling this way forever.

The wellness space loves to make you choose:
Do it all perfectly or don’t bother.

But that’s not how bodies work. And it’s not how I work with my clients.

What I see most often is women with autoimmune conditions quietly losing hope…believing this is just how it’s going to be…and feeling like their condition gets to call the shots.

But that couldn’t be further from the truth.

Your body isn’t working against you. It’s responding to what it’s dealing with.

And when you change the inputs, your body can respond differently.

Because it’s not just about managing symptoms. It’s about supporting the body underneath it all.

Your immune system doesn’t exist in a vacuum.
It’s closely connected to your gut and your stress load.

So instead of chasing perfection, we focus on lowering the overall demand on the immune system.

That may look like:

• Supporting digestion so you can break down and absorb the nutrients your body needs

• Supporting gut health, where a large portion of the immune system is active

• Supporting your nervous system so your body isn’t stuck in a constant state of fight or flight

• Getting clear on your unique food triggers so you can reduce the inflammatory load on the immune system

• Identifying and addressing environmental triggers that may be keeping the immune system on high alert

Targeted shifts. Done consistently. That’s where things start to move.

You are not at the mercy of your diagnosis. Your body is still responsive.

It just needs the right kind of support.

If you’re ready for a different approach to autoimmune health, I’d love to hear what you’re navigating.

Here’s the list 👇

1️⃣ Guess what’s going on
If we’re not looking at the data, we’re just hoping. I don’t build gut protocols on hope.

2️⃣ Blame food for everything
What I see most often is that it’s not just the food… it’s how your gut is functioning underneath it.

3️⃣ Chase symptoms one by one
Bloating, constipation, reflux, loose stools… they’re not random. They’re connected.

4️⃣ Hand out generic supplement lists
More probiotics isn’t always the answer. Targeted support matters.

5️⃣ Skip the foundations
Digestion and stress load set the stage for everything else in the gut.

The longer I do this work, the more I see that gut health isn’t about doing more.

It’s about doing the right things in the right order.

These are the things I say on repeat in my practice.

Because most women I work with aren’t doing nothing…
they’re doing a lot.

They’re trying to eat well.
They’re adding supplements.
They’re paying attention.

And still… they feel stuck.

What I see most often is this: they don’t actually have clarity on what’s driving their symptoms.

So they keep trying new things…without knowing if it’s the right thing.

But especially slide 2.

Stop guessing. Start testing.

Because when you understand what your body is actually asking for, everything starts to feel more clear, more doable, and a whole lot less frustrating.

Symptoms are signals, not random.

They’re just waiting to be understood.

Which slide felt the most relevant for you right now?

What I see most often is women in midlife doing so many things right…and still feeling like something is off.

The foods that used to work suddenly don’t.

Energy feels inconsistent.

Symptoms are louder and harder to ignore.

And it’s easy to start wondering…
“Is this just part of getting older?”

It’s not that your body is working against you.
It’s that it’s asking for something different now.

And when you understand what’s actually going on beneath the surface…everything starts to feel a little more clear.

That’s exactly why I created my Gut + Hormone Blueprint.

It walks you through what’s happening in your body so you know where to focus next.

👉 Comment CLARITY and I’ll send you a simple starting point.

There is a lot of advice out there about cutting foods out.
But your body is more nuanced than that.

If you’ve been avoiding foods, second-guessing every bite, and still not feeling better…there may be more to the story.

Symptoms are signals, not random.

And when you start to understand what your body is actually asking for, things begin to feel a lot clearer.

Swipe through for my answer to why it can feel like your body is reacting to everything.

Especially slide 6. That’s where things really start to click.

What I see most often is women becoming more and more restrictive…when the real opportunity is to understand what their body is asking for.

You don’t need a shorter food list.

You need more clarity.

And sometimes, that clarity comes from testing instead of guessing.

Functional lab testing can help us identify what your body is actually reacting to…so you can be more targeted, not more restrictive.

What questions do YOU have about gut health or food sensitivities?

Opinions aside, this is something I see all the time in my work with women in midlife.

What I see most often is women being told their thyroid is “normal” based on one marker… while they’re still dealing with fatigue, weight changes, brain fog, lipid imbalances and gut issues.

TSH can be a helpful starting point, but it doesn’t always give the full picture of how your thyroid is actually functioning or how your body is using those hormones.

This is where looking deeper can bring so much more clarity and help us connect the dots in a more meaningful way.

In practice, that can include looking at:
• Total T4 + Free T4
• Total T3 + Free T3
• Reverse T3
• Thyroid antibodies (TPO + TG)

Symptoms are signals, not random… and your body is always giving us information if we know where to look.

I’d love to hear your take in the comments👇

How I approach migraines as a functional nutritionist ⤵️

I see many so women dealing with recurring migraines, missing work, canceling plans, or constantly bracing for the next one…and being told it’s just hormones or something they have to live with.

I disagree.

What I see most often is that migraines in midlife are connected to deeper shifts happening in the body, not just something to manage.

In my work, we explore what might be contributing beneath the surface, such as:

• Fluctuating hormones and how the body is processing estrogen
• Blood sugar imbalances that impact brain stability
• Gut imbalances and inflammation
• Chronic stress and nervous system load
• Food sensitivities or environmental triggers
• Nutrient needs like magnesium or B vitamins

When these deeper factors are supported, people often notice:

✨ Fewer and less intense migraines
✨ More predictable patterns and fewer surprises
✨ Better energy and clearer thinking
✨ Feeling more in control of their body again

My favorite tip for more stable energy and fewer mid-afternoon crashes ☝️

Here’s exactly how to do this:
• Start with protein (about a palm-sized portion)
• Add fiber-rich carbs like veggies, fruit, or whole foods
• Include healthy fats like olive oil, avocado, or nuts
• Build your plate in that order so nothing gets missed

This is especially beneficial for anyone who wants:
• More consistent energy
• Fewer cravings
• Better hormone balance
• Less guesswork around what to eat

Because when your meals are balanced, your body has a much easier time staying steady throughout the day.

And if you’re sitting there thinking…

“I’m eating healthy, so why do I still feel off?”

That’s exactly where clarity matters.

📍Save this post for the next time you’re looking for a good supplement.

The reason I choose these is because they support digestion at a foundational level, are well-absorbed, and help your body work more efficiently instead of just masking symptoms.

What I see most often is women trying multiple supplements at once without knowing what their body actually needs.

And while something like HCl can be incredibly supportive, it’s not something I recommend across the board.

Your body has to be in the right place for it.

This is why getting clear on what’s actually going on matters so much.

Have you tried any of these?

I’d love to hear your experience in the comments👇
