Hydration goes beyond water alone in this heat.
⭐ Hydration happens on and off the field. During training and out of training.
⭐ Hydrate with water as well as fruit and vegetables. Sugary drinks and caffeinated beverages do not hydrate you.
⭐ Out of training you can sip on water - that is all you need
⭐ During training your body need the water to have electrolytes to help absorption
⭐ During intense, prolonged, or extra hot training we need to have electrolytes and some glucose added to our water for optimal absorption.
Drink up for performance!
DIY a hydration product with a pinch of salt, a squeeze of lime and a tad of honey.
