Dr. Tolbert just wrapped up a men’s health talk at the Phi Beta Sigma (PBS Western Region) Western Regional Conference with Dr. Bill Releford. And let’s be honest: Most men don’t take their health seriously until something goes wrong.
They talked about what it actually takes to stay strong: fueling your mind, taking care of your body, and getting your spirit right. Not just to survive—but to show up for your family and your community for the long haul.

PRP isn’t one-size-fits-all—and it shouldn’t be.
Just because PRP helped someone’s knee pain doesn’t mean it will work the same way for your shoulder, hip or spine. Why? Because every injury, every body, and every healing response is different.
In this video, Dr. Tolbert explains why PRP must be tailored to the specific condition being treated—and to you as a patient. From how we prepare the platelets to how and where we inject them, every detail matters.

Not all PRP is created equal.
When it comes to PRP therapy, the quality of your platelets matters just as much as the procedure itself. High-quality platelets contain more concentrated growth factors—the key ingredients your body uses to reduce inflammation, repair tissue, and support long-term healing.
In this video, Dr. Tolbert explains what makes a “high-quality” PRP sample, how we measure it, and why poor-quality platelets may lead to disappointing results.

What if your body already had the power to heal itself—without surgery or pills?
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy is changing how we treat chronic pain and injuries. By using a small sample of your own blood, we concentrate your body’s natural growth factors to accelerate healing in joints, tendons, and soft tissue.
In this video, Dr. Tolbert breaks down exactly what PRP is, how it works, and why so many patients are choosing it as a non-surgical solution for pain relief and recovery.
If you've been living with pain or limited mobility, PRP may be the option you've been waiting for.
Have you ever wondered why therapy for chronic pain is so important? Dr. Videau explains how it works and why we use it at our center.

From Dr. Tolbert: “I am beyond proud of my mentee who just achieved something truly special—getting matched everywhere for residency! This is such a huge accomplishment, especially for a Black student stepping into the medical field. And when I say everywhere, I mean EVERYWHERE. That’s rare!”
