Dr. Karbasi earned his medical degree from the Azad Medical School at Azad University in Tehran, Iran and went on to complete his pediatric residency at Tehran Medical University Children's Medical Center. He also served as chief resident at the Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Columbus, Georgia. Dr. Karbasi is currently an Adjunct Faculty member and Clinical Instructor at residency program of Kaiser Permanente Woodland Hills Medical Center. He holds many certifications including Advanced Trauma Life Support, Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Program. He is board-certified in family medicine by the American Academy of Family Physicians.
