✨ Fillmore Church Lives On at Maryhill ✨
Years ago, the closing of Fillmore Lutheran Church in rural Enderlin was a sad moment for many. But today, its spirit continues to live on right here at Maryhill.
Thanks to the vision and dedication of Nancy Farnham, the Trangsrud families, and so many caring community members, the altar, stained glass, and cherished artifacts from Fillmore Church were lovingly saved and restored. Before plans were even approved, Nancy saw the importance of preserving this sacred history and made it happen.
With the help of the community, special thanks to Lila and her daughter-in-law Lori for countless hours of staining, and Collin Trangsrud along with family and volunteers for installing the altar, our chapel became a truly beautiful and meaningful sanctuary.
One of the most touching moments came when a resident walked into the chapel, began to cry, and shared:
🕊️ “All of my children were baptized in front of that altar.”
Moments like this remind us that Maryhill is more than a place to live, it is home, filled with faith, memories, and heart.
💙 Thank you to everyone involved for helping make Maryhill an even more special place.
