The festival of Walpurgis starts on the April 30th.
My Walpurgis oil was designed around the Norse holiday to give thanks to our All father himself Odin , it's a night both of revelry and darkness hence why the oil is a dark brown almost black color. The nine nights of April 22 to April 30 are in rememberance of the Odins self-sacrifice upon the world tree yggdrasil. It was on the ninth night that he died for an instant. At that moment, all the Light in the 9 worlds is extinguished, and utter chaos reigns. At midnight the light returns and fires are lit. On Walpurgisnacht (April 30th), the dead have full sway upon the earth; it is the ending night of the wild hunt. The next day (may 1st) starts the festival of Thrimilci; the beginning of Summer.
