Luna was a rescued puppy in Kentucky 6 years ago when she was adopted by a Tennessee family and brought home to live in Memphis with them. She’s been a beloved family member all these years, but now their family situation has changed and they’re unable to keep Luna so she needs a new family.

Her family was told that Luna might be a great pyrenees mix but her breed is not known for sure. Friendly, gentle, well socialized. For most of her life, Luna lived with other dogs, cats and young kids and she’s friendly and gentle with all. Housebroken and crate trained but never crated because she doesn’t need to be. Professionally obedience trained, low maintenance. Good on a leash, rides great in the car. Healthy and fully vetted, current on shots, spayed, weighs about 100 pounds.

Chase is ready for his forever family!

Gentle, friendly, well-socialized! Chase is a small 18 month old male lab mix who was surrendered by his owner in Memphis who could no longer care for him. Good with other dogs (would love a dog buddy in his new home) and LOVES kids!

Rosie is ready for her forever family!

This is a nice little dog, she loves EVERYBODY! Rosie is a 1yo female terrier/bulldog mix who was rescued as a stray in Memphis. Our vet believes she might be a “pocket bully” due to her short legs and compact, muscular body. Rosie is happy, friendly, well-socialized! Great with other dogs, fine with cats, gentle with children.

Balto is ready for his forever home!

Balto is a 2 year old male HEINZ 57 breed who was rescued as a stray in Memphis. Great with kids and other dogs. Friendly and well socialized, happy temperament.

Back in July, one of our Memphis volunteers stopped for gas on his way home from work and found this little puppy sitting near the pumps. He was told by the attendant that she “appeared” at the station overnight. Well, of course, he took the pup straight home with him and that was the beginning of Sunny’s new life. Little Sunny was adopted by Erica Arooth in Westfield, MA and she arrived in her new home a couple of days ago. Here’s a photo of her arrival from Erica saying “She’s adorable and we love her already!”

Both pups adopted YAY!

READY FOR THEIR FOREVER FAMILIES!
Mae and Mandy are 4mo female Great Pyrenees/Pointer mix puppies from an unplanned litter near Memphis. Mama dog is a purebred Great Pyrenees and Daddy is a purebred Pointer. The pups live in the house with their foster family where they’re lovingly cared for while awaiting adoption. Friendly and well-socialized. Happy, playful, outgoing puppies, they never meet a stranger! Growing up around kids, cats and other dogs. Crate trained and housebroken. Good on a leash, they ride great in the car. DOB is 4-30-25. Weigh about 30 pounds, healthy, altered and utd on shots. They are sweet puppies with happy, loving temperaments and they will make a great companions (and jogging partners) for active families.

Molly is amazing. She is a great addition to our family. She loves spending time outside and for the most part is pretty good inside (currently working through the puppy chewing stage). We are delighted to have added Nash to our family this week! Good Dog Rescue has been a great agency to work with in finding a wonderful dog to add to our home. Mike the adoption manager and Heather the foster mom have both been an invaluable resource to us to help Nash get acclimated to his new home. It has been a very smooth transition. We’re home. Amber is a good car rider. She variously looked out the window and laid down. No anxiety. When she met Finn, thee two took to each other immediately. They were both happy to run around the yard a bit. This is a very good match! Amber is a very sweet dog. Paul Charette / Chicopee MA

Stella is now known Ahsoka or Soka for short and already responds to her new name! She took to me and my Husband before we even got home Saturday from the transport. We love her so much already and am over the moon with how sweet and cuddly is with myself and my husband and the family she has met so far! We are going to start training soon and are excited to see what her already big personality grows into and the adventures we will go on as a family 💙 Thank you so much for being so good to us through this adoption process.
