✨✨Today’s spotlight: Dr. Derek Metz ✨✨

Dr. Metz received his optometry degree from Ohio State University in Columbus, OH. He has been practicing optometry for 5 years and has been with Harvey & Lewis since 2020. He was always interested in the sciences, with his favorite class being anatomy. This was where he discovered that he really enjoyed learning how the human body was organized and how everything functions. The eyes and visual systems particularly interested him. A career in optometry was the perfect combination of his interest in anatomy/physiology and his desire to fix things and help others at the same time. 👁👁👓💙

In his free time, Dr. Metz enjoys fishing, hiking, camping, and DIY projects in his new house. He also loves spending time with his wife, Danielle, who just happens to be an optometrist in our Enfield location!
