Injury resulting in near circumferential shoulder labral tear. Examination revealed shoulder instability with posterior subluxation (partial shoulder dislocation,). Although, patient was not overtly aware of shoulder instability, patient reported constant pain with activity. Imaging shows superior and posterior labral repair with capsular plication. Once healed, patient will be pain-free and back to full activities.

Chronic shoulder instability can result in significant cartilage damage. This is illustrated in the first few pictures. A good capsular/labral repair can restore shoulder stability.
