Hi Englewood! If it’s Friday, it’s time for another Faces of Front Range post! This week, we’re introducing you to one of our part-time team members. If it’s summer time or holiday season, you’re likely to see Logan Purdy behind our front counter providing great customer service with a big ol smile!

At Front Range Pharmacy, we pride ourselves on running a business that is focused on the relationships we build in the community. Logan and his family have long been supporters of Front Range Pharmacy and that relationship evolved into a great opportunity for us all to have Logan with us during his breaks from college.

When he’s not spending time here at Front Range, Logan is all the way in upstate New York going to school for digital media and film! He shares that he enjoys staying in and playing games with his friends in his free time. Logan is back this summer and says, “I hope to see you all at the register!”

Logan, we’re so happy to see you each summer and when you’re home on other breaks from school in NY. We know our community is excited to see you back manning the register!❤️💊

Hey Englewood, Happy Friday! For our Faces of Front Range this week, we’re excited to introduce our community to the newest team member in the store. You’ve likely already experienced his bright smile and professional care at our front register. Shawn Kelly joined Front Range Pharmacy a few weeks ago as our Customer Service Manager. We know that our patients expect a professional and kind experience in our store and Shawn leads with a passion for service and care. You can find him behind the front register, curating our front end OTC options in front of the counter, and out in the community every afternoon providing delivery within 5 miles of the store. Shawn is an Army veteran who moved to Denver in 2012. He worked in the medical ma*****na industry for over 10 years and found passion in helping people. He tried working in IT but missed helping others and actively making a positive impact in our community. He’s excited to return to a retail setting to lead the customer service experience at Front Range Pharmacy.

He enjoys spending time with his cats and family, backpacking, long boarding and going to metal shows!

Happy Friday, Englewood! We had a great time last week celebrating our 5th Anniversary, thanks for all the love and support! This week we’re back with our Faces of Front Range to introduce you to a special member of our team, with a very specialized skillset, that helps make Front Range unique to our community. Crissie Bennett is our Compounding Technician in The Lab at Front Range. She and Annie have transformed the compounding services in our pharmacy and elevated the care for so many of our patients (and their pets🐶🐈). While you will see Crissie at the front register for a bit each morning, she’s truly in her happy place in The Lab creating the troches, lotions, and solutions we’re proud to offer.

Crissie has worked in independent pharmacies since 2001, and has been a compounding technician since 2007. She shares, “I enjoy being able to help people and their pets with their specific needs through compounding”.

When she’s not working, Crissie enjoys spending time with her 3 dogs and 2 cats. For fun, she plays roller and ice hockey all throughout the front range. She also enjoys riding her motorcycle with friends. 🏒🏍️

Englewood, we can’t believe it’s been 5 years! April 21st 2020 feels like yesterday but also a lifetime ago. We are so grateful!

Today we celebrate the chance to serve you and provide your family’s pharmacy needs. We celebrate being in your community and having an opportunity to support it. Today we are celebrating the individuals and fellow small businesses that make our little corner in South Denver so much fun. Thank you, Englewood, for such a warm welcome into your community and for making us a part of your life. Your trust, love, and encouragement makes our job something we truly look forward to every day!

5 years is a big one for us. We feel strong in our roots but also curious about new ways to serve. We feel proud of our accomplishments but also still feel like we are just getting started. 5 years means we aren’t going anywhere… which is actually very hard for independent pharmacies to admit these days. It’s all because of you. Thank you.

Happy Friday, Englewood! It may not feel like it today, but Spring is here. And if it’s Spring, your local Pharmacy is celebrating another year of good local medicine! We’re turning 5 this week, and it’s a great time to share more about our owner, Michael Scruggs, for our Faces of Front Range this week!

To Michael, being someone’s pharmacist means being their counselor, friend, medication expert, lifestyle cheerleader and trusted professional. Who knew running a register as a high school student at a small town drug store back in South Carolina would spark a journey toward creating the pharmacy that stands today? Though starting Front Range had always been a dream of his, it was only accomplished after much preparation at the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy where he learned the ins and outs of the pharmacy business model.

With Front Range Pharmacy celebrating it’s 5th anniversary this week, Michael’s days look very different than they used to. Managing the team and the business has become more of a full time roll, but he can always be found at the store at some point in the day! Though being a pharmacist is what really makes him tick, being an employer has stolen his heart and he considers his team the very best out there.

Future plans include expanding Front Range’s services and reach while preserving efficiencies and the familiarity that customers have come to count on. Michael is taking much more of an advocacy role in the state to defend and broaden the scope of pharmacy, locally and nationally, while also serving on the Colorado Board of Pharmacy. Michael is keen on sharing his passion of entrepreneurship and would love to teach more at local universities as well as take on more student interns throughout the year.

Today if he is not at the store, he is probably in the shop woodworking or enjoying the outdoors with his husband, Pete.

As a team, we’re grateful for Michael’s vision, compassion, and love for Independent Pharmacy. And we love him for his dedication to our team and our community! Cheers to the next 5!

Happy Friday, Englewood! In this week’s Faces of Front Range we’re introducing one of the original members of our team, someone who truly helped Front Range Pharmacy become what it is today. She helped build and paint cabinets when the floors in the store were still dirt and there were no walls to put cabinets on. She’s built many of the systems and workflows we use today, and she’s part of the reason we’re celebrating 5 years in Englewood.

Kelsey Otis is a Certified Pharmacy Technician, Robot and digital workflow wizard, and a beloved member of our Front Range family. Simply put, this store would not have thrived the last 5 years without the love for the work she does, love for the place that is Front Range Pharmacy, and love for the community we serve.

Kelsey is a third generation Colorado native. Though her job at Walgreens was only supposed to be for the summer while she thought about college, it turned into a thirteen year career in retail pharmacy. She became certified in 2015, and through happenstance met Michael through the RiteAid buyout.

She is proud to have helped build Front Range, quite literally, assembling and staining cabinets and shelving in Michael’s garage.

When not packaging medications for Front Range’s DayPack compliance packing program, she can be found reading, cross stitching, or rocking out to the Grateful Dead.

Kelsey, we’re grateful you continue to help Front Range deliver on our promise of good local medicine, and we’re thrilled to have you grow with us! ❤️💊

Happy Friday! In this week’s Faces of Front Range, we’re introducing the community to our multi-talented in-house tech guru, robot wrangler, and Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician, Zack Pohl! Zack has a love of technology and has helped Front Range stay on the leading edge of integrating new tech in the store that helps us serve Englewood as efficiently as possible.

Zack hails from the vibrant landscapes of New Mexico. Several years ago he embarked on a journey that led him to the enchanting city of Denver after visiting family and instantly falling in love with it’s charm.

After 16 years of experience in the medical field as an EMT and a first aid CPR instructor, Zack found a new home in the world of pharmacy.

When he’s not busy with work, he loves to immerse himself in the world of video/ tabletop games and exploring the hidden gems of the city. Zack shares that he thrives on spontaneity, often wandering without a plan and letting the adventure unfold as he goes.

We’re thrilled Zack has brought his many talents to Front Range Pharmacy and we can’t wait to be a part of his continued professional growth with good local medicine! 💊❤️

Hey Englewood, Happy Friday!

Front Range Pharmacy is proud to serve the pharmacy needs of our patients in many ways. Delivery, DayPacks, Long Term Care and Compounding are a few of the ways we’re dedicated to providing Good Local Medicine. Our compounding patients and providers likely already know and trust our Face of Front Range this week! Annie Osmundson leads The Lab at Front Range with the level of care, knowledge, and efficiency that comes from a deep love of people, medicine, and independent pharmacy.

Annie moved to Denver over a decade ago after she received her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from the University of Montana Skaggs School of Pharmacy. Throughout school she worked at an independent compounding pharmacy that specialized in women’s health and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. She fell in love with working for a local pharmacy and learning the art of compounding and knew that was the pharmacy path she would want to follow. Annie joined Front Range Pharmacy to help grow the compounding side of business and continue with her passion and love for independent pharmacy.

When she is not in the pharmacy, she is spending time with her husband, young son, and dog Lucy, most likely chasing the sunshine with outdoor activities, concerts, and sporting events.

Annie exemplifies why independent pharmacy matters to our community: she takes the time to care, gets to know the needs of patients and providers, and provides compassionate healthcare that makes an impact. Annie, thank you for making our patients your priority! We’re fortunate you call Front Range home!❤️💊

In this week’s edition of Faces of Front Range, you know her, and we love her! Peggy McNellis is a nationally certified Pharmacy Technician, and truly a national treasure to the retail pharmacy profession. Her wealth of pharmacy knowledge and world-class, patient-first approach to health care has made our community better for decades. She’s also great at keeping Michael in line and being the Momma Bear of our store. Most of all, Peggy’s heart for people shows up in her giant smile that we get to enjoy everyday.

Peggy is a native Coloradan and graduated from CSU with an art education degree. She’s been married to her husband Dan for 42 years, has two daughters, grandkids, and extended family in the Denver area.

Peggy began her Pharmacy Technician career after getting married, and had worked in big box stores for years, until we coaxed her away to join us at Front Range. She says, “the independent pharmacy atmosphere is so much better, and has made me love work again.”

In her free time, Peggy loves spending time with her family and 2 grandkids, and tries to spend as much time outdoors as she can.🏔️🥾��Peggy, thank you for choosing Front Range and Englewood, we cherish you!💊❤️

Happy Friday, Englewood! This week in our Faces of Front Range, we’re excited to share more about Christina McNellis, a friendly face and voice you’ve surely experienced in the store and on the phone!

Christina wears many hats at Front Range: she’s our Customer Service extraordinaire, merchandises all of the great local and OTC products we have on the shelves, and we’re thrilled to support her as she becomes our next Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician!

Christina was born and raised in southwest Denver and got her bachelor’s degree from CU Denver. She has worked in customer service for 20 years, and she really enjoys working with the crew at Front Range and helping the people of Englewood. She shares that “getting to see familiar patients and getting to know them has been great”!

In her spare time, Christina loves going to sporting events (🏈GO BRONCOS!) and concerts, and spending time with her friends and family.

We’re truly lucky and grateful to have Christina’s talents and warm presence in the store. Thanks for choosing Front Range Pharmacy in your professional journey, Christina! 💙🧡

This Friday, in our Faces of Front Range, we can’t wait to share more about a friendly face you may already know!

Colleen moved to Colorado in 2011 to attend CU’s Skaggs School of Pharmacy. After working for chain pharmacies for over a decade, Colleen welcomed the change that Front Range offered. Working for an independent pharmacy has allowed Colleen the work/life balance she’s always dreamed of. When her son was born in September of 2023, Colleen shifted to working in the pharmacy part time so that she could spend more time at home with him. Outside of the pharmacy, you can find Colleen with her husband introducing their son to all their favorite places in our beautiful state (➡️➡️swipe to see his adorable reaction to the Maroon Bells ⛰️👶🏼)!
