Did you recently have a baby? Among the excitement, it is not uncommon to experience the “baby blues” during the first days and weeks after giving birth. You may have feelings of disappointment, depression, irritability or anxiety. Sometimes the feelings can linger longer than expected. Being a mom is hard and exhausting! Oftentimes, the challenges of postpartum are swept under the rug and not talked about in a normalized way.
In this group, mothers will meet and connect with other mothers. Danielle Rabinovich, LPC and Maria Neiers, LPCC will guide the group in a safe and comfortable environment, talking though and processing postpartum mental health. Moms will gain a sense of confidence, community, and support navigating through the adjustments to motherhood. The group will meet once a week over telehealth and is limited to 8 people. All moms are welcome ( babies are also welcome!) The group will start on 05/30/2022 and will meet weekly on Tuesday afternoons from 1:45-2:45 PM for 6 weeks. The cost is $60 for all 6 sessions. Medicaid is accepted.
