An Arizona family attributes prayer and the intercession of Blessed Michael McGivney to their toddler’s miraculous recovery following a near-drowning incident. On March 2, 2025, 14-month-old Vincent Robinson was found unresponsive at the bottom of a hot tub. His father, Wesley, immediately began CPR, and Vincent was rushed to the hospital. Though stabilized, his condition was critical. While Vincent lay in the hospital, his parents and nine siblings prayed the Rosary and started a Novena. Vincent’s uncle, a priest, brought a first-class relic of Blessed McGivney to the hospital, which was placed on Vincent’s body each day during the Novena. Each day brought unexpected improvement. By that evening, Vincent was out of end-of-life care, and each day after those nine days of the Novena brought more improvement. His MRI came back clear; he woke up, started moving, and looked like himself. By day nine of the Novena, he was out of the hospital. The Robinsons want to remind other Catholics that the power of prayer is real and miracles still happen:
