I kid, I kid — go ahead and send the 11pm text, it’ll be answered during business hours lol.
Here’s the thing though: your hair not falling out the next day doesn’t mean the laser “didn’t work.”

✨ The laser disables the follicle, it doesn’t magically vaporize the hair on the spot.
✨ The dead hair needs 10–14 days (sometimes up to 3 weeks) to shed out of the skin.
✨ It can LOOK like it’s “growing” at first, but it’s actually pushing out as it dies.
✨ You can shave, you can gently exfoliate after 48 hours, but don’t tweeze or wax.

So when the 11pm text hits: “Why is my hair still there?!”

It’s almost always:
• Too soon
• Totally normal
• Already answered in the aftercare we emailed you (that you absolutely did not read 😌)

Leg veins are one of my weird little aesthetic passions. Seriously. I love treating them. 🩵

Before opening AM Aesthetics Denver, I spent 8 years working in a vascular clinic, helping patients clean up cosmetic spider veins after medical vein procedures like phlebectomies and ablations.

So when I say I know veins… I mean I KNOW veins.

Here’s what you’re seeing in this before & after:

Those tiny blue/purple lines are spider veins (telangiectasia). They’re small superficial veins that show up due to genetics, hormones, pregnancy, sun damage, or previous venous disease.

Using laser energy, we target the hemoglobin inside the vein. The heat causes the vein to collapse and seal shut, and over the next 4–5 weeks the body gradually reabsorbs it.

That “cat scratch” look immediately after treatment? Totally normal. It’s just the vessel reacting to the heat and it fades as the vein clears.

Most clients see improvement after one treatment, but stubborn veins sometimes need 2–3 sessions.

The biggest advantage of my background?

I can tell you when laser WILL work… and when you actually need a vascular doctor and sclerotherapy instead.

Not every vein should be lasered, and honest guidance matters.

If spider veins are bugging you, treatments are quick — usually about 15 minutes.

For the last 5 years, I’ve been a Table Captain for the Women’s Bean Project luncheon — and every single year it reminds me why I care about this work.

Women’s Bean Project isn’t just a nonprofit.
It’s a transitional employment program for women facing significant barriers to work — things like incarceration history, homelessness, chronic poverty, trauma.

They don’t just hand out jobs.
They provide paid job training, life skills, financial literacy, and long-term support so women can build sustainable futures.

This event — Futures in Bloom — is their largest annual fundraiser.

Let me be very clear:

✨ Lunch is provided.
✨ The room is beautiful.
✨ The stories will move you.
✨ And donations are expected.
