Colorado Surgical Arts provides safe and comfortable full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery in a state of the art office. Our clinical interests include tooth extractions, wisdom tooth extractions, bone grafting, dental implant placement, oral lesions and biopsies, corrective jaw surgery, and facial injuries. Oral and maxillofacial surgeon Thomas L. Stone, MD, DDS, FACS received his dental degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He completed a one-year general surgery internship at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas and received his residency-training certificate in oral and maxillofacial surgery from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Stone is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a fellow of the American Society of Implant & Reconstructive Dentistry, a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a member of the Academy of Osseointegration. He also lectures nationally on dental implants. Dr. Stone is married to Dr. Kimberly Stone, who has her own dermatology practice, Colorado Skin Care, and is a father to six active children. He is an avid athlete and enjoys participating in marathons and triathlons. Additionally, he is fluent in Portuguese and speaks conversational Spanish.
Oral and maxillofacial surgeon Lauren Basile, DMD, earned her dental degree from the University of Connecticut. She then completed her Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at the University of Washington in Seattle. Dr. Basile has comprehensive experience in the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, infections, trauma, orthognathic surgery, and both benign and malignant pathology. She is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Society of Anesthesia, the Colorado Dental Association, and the Metro Denver Dental Association. Dr. Basile is a Clinical Instructor at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine and maintains privileges at several Denver area hospitals.
