What is it?
Platelet-rich plasma or PRP therapy is concentrated protein derived from whole blood and centrifuged to remove the red blood cells.

How does it work?
1) Blood is drawn from a vein in the patient's arm into a vial (typically 15 to 50 mL, or less than 2 ounces of blood is needed).
2) The blood is processed using a centrifuge machine.
3) Our nurse prepares the centrifuged platelet-rich plasma for injection into the scalp.
