We’re proud to share another first for Englewood Health — and New Jersey! Our vascular surgery team recently performed a new minimally invasive procedure that uses a specialized device to repair a weak spot in the iliac artery while preserving normal blood flow to the pelvis.

Dr. Thomas Bernik, Chief of Vascular Surgery, and Dr. Michael Wilderman, vascular surgeon, each completed their first case using the advanced Cook Medical Zenith®️ Iliac Branch device, offering certain patients a new treatment option with a faster recovery — another step forward in bringing innovative care to our community.

Joseph began his nursing career at Englewood Hospital in January 2022 and has quickly taken on key roles, including charge nurse, preceptor, and chemotherapy-certified nurse. He’s consistently recognized by patients and families for his kindness, patience, and thoughtful care. Joseph’s impact on his colleagues and those in his care is undeniable, and we’re proud to recognize him with this well-deserved honor.
