This Caregiver Appreciation Month, we are honored to spotlight Wen and his mother, Chia.

Chia moved to MorningStar at West San Jose earlier this year from San Francisco, and Wen has remained a constant source of love, support, and companionship. Living nearby in Saratoga, Wen visits his mom every single day - sharing meals, conversations, and cherished moments together. From breakfast check-ins to evenings spent watching NBA games and discussing poetry, Wen continues to learn from and treasure the time he has with her.

Their bond reflects the true heart of caregiving: patience, devotion, and a deep respect for the journey shared.

Honoring Tim – A True American Hero!

As we continue our Veterans Day spotlight, today we proudly honor Tim, a valued team member at MorningStar at Holly Park and a U.S. Air Force veteran who served from 1992 to 2022.

For 30 years, Tim dedicated himself to protecting our nation’s freedom, serving as a Jet Engine Technician on the F-16 Fighting Falcon, ensuring these aircraft were always mission-ready. His expertise and commitment supported countless successful deployments across Iraq, South Korea, and Germany.

Tim also served as a satellite operator, showcasing his versatility and leadership. Reflecting on his service, he shared:

“I loved serving because I was contributing to national security and supporting freedom.”

Tim, we thank you for your extraordinary dedication, sacrifice, and the example you continue to set every day. We’re honored to have you as part of the MorningStar family.
