ATTENTION AFFORDABLE CARE ACT ENROLLEES!
If you will be losing your ACA health insurance coverage effective 1/1/2026 due to skyrocketing premiums, please know that the Englewood Community Care Clinic may be a good option for you to obtain needed primary care medical services. We have 19 skilled and dedicated volunteer medical providers who will be happy to help eligible patients.

In order to be eligible, you need to be at 300% of the Federal Poverty Level based on household size and income. This translates, based on household size, to:

Household Size - Annual Income
1 - $46,950
2 -$63,450
3 - $79,950
4 - $96,450

Stop by the clinic on any Monday or Thursday evening at 4:30pm to discuss your situation and/or get screened for eligibility. You can call us at 941-681-2081 as well.

Please do not let NOT having health insurance prevent you from getting care and regular screenings. We are here for you!

A reminder that the clinic is open Monday at 4:30pm. We will be closed on Thursday for Thanksgiving so if you have prescriptions that need refills now, Monday is your day. Happy Thanksgiving week!🦃

Englewood area friends: Our hearts are heavy this week and we really need your help. Over the past 2 months, we have had 3 women come to our clinic with substantial breast masses. These could have been addressed much earlier had the women known about our free clinic given that they did not have health insurance. We are providing diagnostic testing and moving forward with the help they need.

Please help us get the word out about the availability of our clinic to residents of Charlotte and Sarasota counties. We have dedicated volunteer providers who give great care. Let’s not let not having health insurance prevent anyone from getting potentially life saving medical care! Spread the word.

Walgreens at 2940 S. McCall Rd. In Englewood is offering free flu shots tomorrow (Friday, September 19 only) for individuals who do not have health insurance. Take advantage of this offer!
