We extend our sincere gratitude to Leigh Ann Metscher for her outstanding presentation on Care of the Neurologically Impaired Patient.

Leigh Ann shared invaluable expertise, clinical insight, and practical guidance that deepened our understanding of the complexities involved in caring for this patient population. Her knowledge, passion, and commitment to excellence were evident throughout the session.

We are also incredibly appreciative of the opportunity to tour Craig Hospital and experience firsthand the remarkable environment where specialized neurological rehabilitation and patient-centered care come to life. The behind-the-scenes look at the facility, equipment, and interdisciplinary approach was both educational and inspiring for our attendees.

Thank you, Leigh Ann, for investing your time, leadership, and expertise into advancing the practice of case management and improving outcomes for neurologically impaired patients. We are grateful for your partnership and hospitality.

You’re invited to join us for Health Off the Press, a discussion-based forum created to explore timely and relevant topics in healthcare through shared reflection and professional dialogue.

Our upcoming conversation will center on the article:
A Retrospective Chart Review of the Prevalence, Characteristics, and Discharge Destinations of Patients Hospitalized as “Social Admissions”

We’re especially excited to share that one of the article’s authors, Dr. Jasmine Mah, from the Division of Geriatric Medicine, Dalhousie University (Halifax, Nova Scotia), will be joining the conversation to offer insight and engage in discussion alongside participants.

This session is not a lecture and not a CE event. Instead, it’s an opportunity to think critically about how this research shows up in real-world practice, exchange perspectives, and connect with others doing this work every day.
