Our residents recently gathered to celebrate a cherished milestone—the 101st birthday of one of our beloved resident, Dorothy. The festivities were filled with joy, featuring a delicious cake, refreshing punch, and lively music performed by Providence Road. The upbeat melodies inspired several residents to take to the dance floor, adding an extra layer of happiness to the occasion. It was a heartwarming event that highlighted the strong bonds and vibrant spirit within our community.

The residents had a wonderful time enjoying delicious ice cream and relaxing in the Adirondack chairs. A couple of residents even posed for photos while riding the scooter. There were smiles all around as they savored their sweet treats in the cozy, cheerful atmosphere.

Peggy had worked with her at a local school for more than 20 years, and they were reunited once again! Life had brought them full circle, and we can't wait to see them take on this new chapter together. 💙

The Salem Quartet came to our community and filled our community with uplifting sounds of gospel music. Their beautiful harmonies and heartfelt songs brought smiles to everyone's faces. Meet our new Health and Wellness Director, Heather Gate. She is excited to be working at Brookdale Englewood! Heather has been a nurse for over 10 years and specializes in geriatric and dementia care. She previously worked at Brookdale for six years and is happy to be back in the community.

Heather is a mom of three children, which keeps her busy. She enjoys spending time with her kids, reading and cooking. She is looking forward to building new relationships with the residents and their families.
