Down Dog
So basic and so challenging
Eventually is used as an active resting pose
But it takes time, work and strength to get to this point
My favorite for are:
🖐Press into the pointer finger👆 and thumb mounds to move weight out of the wrists
💪rotate the arms externally 👁 of the elbows face top of the mat
💪 hollow the armpits and spread collar bones from the center to the sides, shoulder blades together and down the bag
🍑 hips up and back
🦶 feet hips width apart and a number eleven
🦵calves and heels try to move down to the floor (as best they can)
🦵knee caps in and up, thighs move towards the back of the mat
