Great new book out called "Adam's Healing Adventures" which is a social story about the root cause of a child's allergies and frequent illnesses. This makes me think of the many children I work with whom suffer from allergies and associated speech/language/learning challenges.

I am excited to announce my new Functional Medicine Health coach toolkit that I bring to my work with children and families. As an SLP and Functional Medicine Health Coach, I guide families to uncover the root causes for their child's learning challenges which unleashes so much potential.

The beginning of this school year in particular has me thinking about growth mindset. As I prepare my own children for their online learning journey in our learning pod, I am grateful for this opportunity we all have to go outside our comfort zone and embrace the current state we are in.

This is such a challenging time for parents of children. The decision to send your child to school or not has many pros and cons on either side with the covid pandemic raging. Many parents whose children are on IEPs have been reaching out for additional support. Feel free to reach out to me if you need guidance or support especially if your child needs extra support in their communication and academics. We will gracefully navigate these unchartered waters and our children will be stronger for the resiliency we are modeling. The way we communicate and use language with our children around these challenging decisions builds confidence and strength in them too. Feel free to reach out!
