Today we celebrate a historic first in our nation’s history: a federal judge has ruled in favor of abortion pill reversal, protecting Bella Health + Wellness from Colorado’s unjust attempt to stop us from offering compassionate, life-affirming care.
This is more than a win, it is a decisive, crushing victory. Colorado appears too nervous to even appeal, unwilling to face the truth and solidness of this case in the appellate court. Their silence speaks volumes: truth and life have prevailed.
Since October 2023, when the law was temporarily blocked, Bella has helped women continue their pregnancies, welcoming 16 babies (and counting!) into the world. We’ve seen their faces, heard their heartbeats, and held their tiny hands, all while supporting their courageous mamas.
With the help of Becket, Bella stood strong, and today, women in Colorado and across the nation have hope, choice, and the medical care they deserve.

Our Bella Story

Bella was founded by mother and daughter nurse practitioners, Dede Chism and Abby Sinnett. The inspiration came to the founders while on a medical mission to Peru. While standing on top of a mountain, they were touched by their freedom to treat patients with dignity. They felt the Lord call them to bring their mission home to Colorado. In 2012, they decided to start a natural women’s health clinic that would uphold the dignity of women and give them the care they deserve.

Bella opened its doors in 2014. The clinic specializes in nearly every area of women’s health, including obstetrics, well woman care, gynecology, infertility treatment, and menopause care. Family medicine was added to the practice in 2016. Powered by word-of-mouth, Bella grew from fewer than 100 registered patients its first year to well over 7,700 in 2019. Bella continues to transform healthcare by embracing the dignity of all patients, promoting healing and wellness through a natural and scientific approach with sincere compassion for life.
