Haven’t posted in a while but I want potential patients to know that we are open for new consults and scheduling of surgery. We are taking all precautions for the safety of our patients. Cleaning and sanitizing schedules have been increased and all staff, visitors and patients are required to wear masks when in the office.

I have received my first vaccination and am scheduled for second dose next week.

Our surgicenter has never had a single case of Covid as we have screened every patient before surgery and staff is tested frequently.

We are near the end of the age of Covid and wish to reassure our patients that we are taking every precaution to maintain the health and safety of our patients.

Welcome back.

At this crazy time I'm sure you are wondering if you can see your doctor if needed. We are open for our usual office hours though per state orders we are postponing elective surgery. Our office is regularly cleaned and our staff is taking all precautions. We are able to see you for both pre-op and post op visits. We can obtain authorizations and pre-op clearance and will be ready to schedule surgery as soon as allowed.

Well it's that time of year again! Time to consider getting treatment for unsightly varicose veins...

Why treat varicose veins now in Autumn, you may ask, since you won't be wearing a bathing suit or shorts for another six months. Well the answer is that though the treatments for varicose veins are minimally invasive and don't cause a lot of pain, they may lead to discoloration of the skin which takes some time to resolve. The articles below attempt to explain varicose veins and two minimally invasive options for their treatment. As always, I welcome your comments and questions.

This article discusses the causes and treatment of several forms of venous disease including varicose veins, spider veins and venous stasis resulting in leg ulcers.
