People living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia and their caregivers are invited to join in “Making Memories” at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art on September 22 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This experience is centered around the world of Dave Chihuly and will include private museum access and a hands-on art project. Light refreshments will be provided.

Today, I had the pleasure of attending a board retreat for the Oklahoma chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. As part of our retreat, we got to attend the annual luncheon of the Alliance of Women for Alzheimer’s Research and Education (AWARE). This is always a wondeful event, and this year, we got to learn about Alzheimer’s research happening right here in our state. Great things are happening to find a cure! 💜
