Who says holiday cheer is only for December? On Friday, our incredible staff brought the festive spirit early with a Christmas in July celebration! From decking out delicious cookies to designing the most creative Christmas sweatshirts, the energy was merry, bright and just a little bit competitive. Heading back to school also means back to activities for many student athletes. There are a number of positive aspects of organized youth sports – from fun and friendship to focus and exercise. With the increased volume of patients during this summer season, our nursing staff has been working to ensure that we are offering high-quality and compassionate care to our patients who are seeking specialized care and treatment at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. To show our appreciation, we made a Sonic run on Tuesday. Thank you to our nursing staff and all of our other healthcare teams who go above and beyond.

Members of the St. Mary's management team joined together for the Annual YWCA Purses with Purpose luncheon. Each year, the YWCA Enid hosts this event to raise awareness about domestic violence. Funds raised from the event support YWCA Enid's Crisis Center, providing free emergency services to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and other forms of abuse for survivors and their children.

New and gently used handbags and new jewelry items are donated by women and businesses within the Enid community for a silent auction. This is the YWCA's signature fundraising event, and St. Mary's Regional Medical Center is a proud supporter of the YWCA's mission to help women and children who fall victim to domestic abuse.

This week, we wanted to express our appreciation to the ER team for their dedication to the care of our patients! May, June, and now July have been very busy months for emergency care. We are grateful that we have such an amazing ER team to care for our patients in Northwest Oklahoma.

When asked what type of food was an ER favorite, Chick-fil-A was the request! Again, kudos to our ER team for helping make our St. Mary's ER a preferred option in Northwest Oklahoma for emergent care needs.
