Our INTEGRIS Health Enid Hospital iCrew Committee had the honor of serving our community this past weekend by preparing and serving 150 meals at the Enid Welcome Table. 💚

The Enid Welcome Table is a community outreach initiative created by Central Christian Church that provides free, restaurant-style meals every Sunday evening for individuals and families in need. This collaborative effort brings together churches and civic groups to offer warm, home-cooked meals in a welcoming environment—no strings attached.

Our friends at Coffee Inclination helped us serve up a cozy latte pick-me-up, while the iMatter Committee rounded with Hershey’s Hugs and Kisses and a fun game to give caregivers a moment to pause, smile and enjoy something sweet.

This month, we are proud to recognize Charlene for her incredible 27 years of service with INTEGRIS Health. Her heart for others, positive spirit and dedication to helping those around her have made a lasting impact on our patients, caregivers and community.

Charlene’s journey into health care began unexpectedly when she took a part-time PBX operator role for a little extra spending money, but it quickly became so much more. What’s kept her at INTEGRIS Health Enid Hospital all these years? The people. Charlene says she truly loves her job and the team she works with, and she looks forward to coming in each day because she enjoys helping others.

What she loves most is meeting new people and guiding them through questions about their medical billing, making a sometimes-stressful process a little easier. One of her proudest moments came during COVID, when patient access closed and she stepped in to work in the emergency department, taking temperatures so patients could continue receiving the care they needed.

Outside of work, Charlene enjoys spending time with her family and cruising with her husband—and here’s a fun fact: she also owns a rolloff dumpster business!

Thank you, Charlene, for 27 years of compassion, commitment and care. We are so grateful for everything you do! 💙
