‼️Four years ago, our communities recognized the importance of this work by passing the Madison and Ruby Valley Rural Ambulance District. That support has helped ensure stable funding for hospital-based EMS services at both Madison Valley Medical Center and Ruby Valley Medical Center.
In the coming weeks, registered voters will receive ballots asking whether to renew this funding. This is not a new initiative. It is a continuation of a system our hospitals have built together and our communities rely on.

Madison Valley Medical Center CEO Allen Rohrback in the The Madisonian-Ballots are coming. So is a choice about emergency care.

"Our EMS teams cover a vast and often challenging rural landscape. They respond to emergencies on highways, county roads, ranches, and in homes throughout the valley. They are also present at school events, rodeos, and other gatherings, ensuring care is close at hand.

Across the Madison and Ruby Valleys, ambulance teams from the Madison Valley Medical Center and Ruby Valley Medical Center respond to a growing number of emergencies—on highways and county roads, in homes and ranches, and at community events—providing critical care when it is needed most. Maintaining reliable emergency response in a rural area requires highly trained paramedics and EMTs, dependable ambulances, specialized equipment, and the ability to respond at any time, day or night.

This spring, voters in the Madison and Ruby Valleys will be asked to renew the Madison & Ruby Valley Rural Ambulance District for another four years. This district provides stable, locally controlled funding to support ambulance staffing, equipment, training, and emergency readiness for services based in Ennis and Sheridan.

Ballots will be mailed on April 16, with a return deadline of May 5th. This vote will help ensure that ambulance services remain available and ready to respond when emergencies occur.

Please vote yes for the renewal of the Madison and Ruby Valley Rural Ambulance District.
