Well, friends, summer is coming to an end. With fall coming, we send this appeal. After Thanksgiving 2020 and 2021, we saw spectacular waves of COVID that lasted through the holidays and to February the next year. It was all hands on deck testing and helping patients manage COVID-19. We, your local healthcare providers, have a simple request: get the new bivalent booster vaccine along with your flu shot now. Let’s prevent another surge in 2022. We have Moderna and Pfizer bivalent booster vaccines, good for everyone 12 and older. You can get yours 2 months after your primary series or last booster. You can get the bivalent booster at the same time as you get your flu shot. One and done.

This week, we have seen a new uptick in COVID-19 cases. Yesterday, the State of Vermont confirmed cases and hospitalizations are on the rise again.

We have free at-home rapid antigen tests to distribute in our community. Through a federal government program, we can provide the tests you need to keep you and your household and co-workers safe. Also, we have free N95 masks to distribute. Here's how to get yours:

By now, billions of people around the world have received the vaccine, including millions of children and adolescents aged 5 to 17. For most families, getting the vaccine is an economic decision - less time away from work and school - and we have plenty of vaccine for ages 5 and up. We are offering self-scheduling for COVID-19 testing - PCR and antigen testing - Monday to Friday at 11:00 am and 3:00 pm. Now you can schedule a test any time!

We processed requests for about 1,200 take home rapid tests today and exhausted our supply. We are expecting 350 test kits some time after February 1. If you submitted a request and we let you know your tests are ready for pick up, they are reserved for you. If you send a request for tests to info@coldhollowdocs.org, we will fulfill orders on a First-Come-First-Served basis from this list. Sorry we are unable to meet this need, but we will keep working on it and let everyone know here.
