I am incredibly honored that out of hundreds of entries, my work entitled "Expecting Reflection" was selected as the First Place Winner in the National Association of Portrait & Child Photographers Image Competition! Thank you so much!

This photograph is definitely one I am proud of. The reflection is not the work of Photoshop - it was created in the moment with a very willing client who wasn't afraid to lay down in a rain puddle at the end of our session. It had stormed the entire day leading up to our meeting time, and we almost canceled, but I was hopeful the weather would clear. It did - and this is just one of the beautiful memories we captured for Crysta and James that afternoon, while they waited to welcome their little one.

This Saturday, March 23 from 9-4pm - The Potter's Hand Photography will be hosting a Shooting Star Traveling Dress promo session. This stunning dress from Little Dreamers Tutus is a size 6 and fits little girls from sizes 4-8. We'll also be partnering with Summerana magazine for this and using their fun star overlays (shown here on the promo flyer)! The dress features removable flutter sleeves and rainbow skirt for multiple looks!

Sessions will be held indoors at The Studio in Enterprise, AL.

Due to the inclement weather expected Saturday, Dec. 2, the Whoville Celebration 2023 in Downtown Enterprise will be postponed to Dec. 9. from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“After consulting with city leadership, the Emergency Management Association, vendors and volunteers, the committee made the decision to postpone the annual Whoville Celebration to the planned rain date,” Main Street Executive Director Mariah Montgomery said. “We want to thank everyone for their support of this change. Your patience and Wholiday spirit could make even the Grinch’s heart grow.”

The ticketed attractions of Elf Driving School and the Winter Wonderland Maze will no longer be available due to the date change. However, free inflatables and train rides will still be offered. Contests will still continue, with prizes awarded for various categories.
