Living in a community so close to Fort Rucker, we have the privilege of walking alongside so many incredible military families—and this month, we pause to recognize the strength, resilience, and sacrifice of their children.

Military kids are asked to adapt in ways most never have to—frequent moves, new schools, long separations, and the emotional weight of having a parent serve. Yet, they show up with courage, flexibility, and a quiet bravery that often goes unseen.

At Care Counseling, we see you. We honor your stories. And we are here to support the unique challenges military children and families face—offering a safe space to process, grow, and thrive.

We are excited for our community to keep growing with Women’s HealthcareServices.

Medical Center Enterprise is proud to announce the opening of MCE Medical Group OB/GYN, a new clinic dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate women’s healthcare services to the Wiregrass community. Dr. Whitney Shoemaker and Keltin Jimmerson, CNM, WHNP-C will begin seeing patients on April 8, 2026. Jessica Williams, CNM, WHNP-C will begin accepting patients in May, and joining the team in June will be Dr. P.T. Nguyen. Prospective patients are encouraged to call 334-348-8851 to schedule an appointment. The office is located at 101 East Brunson Street, Suite 310, Enterprise, Alabama.
Medical Center Enterprise will continue providing labor and delivery services, ensuring a seamless and trusted care experience from prenatal visits through delivery. MCE is excited to welcome a full team of experienced physicians to provide dedicated, around the clock obstetric care. Our laborist team includes Dr. John Gordon, Dr. Jonathan Payne, Dr. Thomas Robinson, Dr. Thomas Malone, Dr. Melissa Heath, Dr. Nicole Johnston, Dr. Niki Maddox, and Dr. Twyla Norsworthy.
