Do you find yourself tensing up unintentionally? In a constant state of 'fight or flight'? Did we just call you out?

Try this. Take a deep breath in through you nose. Fill your lungs for a count of 4 seconds. Hold that breath for 4 seconds. Exhale slowly through your mouth for a count of 4 seconds, then hold your exhalation for 4 seconds. Repeat 4 times or however many times you need.

You've just did a box breathing exercise. This is a great way to re-center yourself, calm your parasympathetic nervous system, slow your heart rate, reduce stress, and regulate your emotions. Give it a shot!
