Physical therapy is about more than injury rehab. It’s about helping your body move, recover, and function the way it was designed to. Whether that means getting back to sport, keeping up with your kids, or simply making everyday movement feel easier.

Because the goal isn’t just to “get through” the day.
It’s to feel good doing it. 🙌

Most people think the hip hinge is just a gym movement, BUT you probably use it 100 times a day without realizing it. 💪🏻

From loading laundry and reaching for pots & pans to picking up your kids, gardening, running, lifting, and sports performance — the hip hinge is one of the most important movement patterns your body has.

The problem? Many people bend from their BACK instead of their HIPS. Over time, that can lead to pain, stiffness, and poor movement mechanics.

Learning to hinge well isn’t just for athletes. It matters for parents, active adults, older adults, and honestly… anyone who moves. Your body should work FOR you, not against you.

Having low back pain? Come see us at Southern Spine & Sport. Will get you back moving, pain free + help you stay that way for the long haul!
