What sets the Acuscope apart from other therapy modalities?

- FDA approval ensures the safety and effectiveness of medical devices. The Acuscope and Myopulse Therapy System is a Class II medical device that has been tested and approved to treat neuromuscular and musculoskeletal conditions, to be used as a form of non-invasive pain management, and accelerate the recovery rate by 50% or more.

- Biofeedback is a monitoring system that uses a pre-programmed computer circuitry and includes a non-fixed output. This allows the instrument to internally adjust its output based on each patient’s needs during each session, preventing overstimulation and harm to the cells. Each patient receives a personalized treatment tailored to the tissue’s specific needs.

- The Acuscope provides therapists with digital readings (auditory and numerical) indicating the location of cellular dysfunction. Every living body is made up of a vast number of cells. In ways, the cells act like tiny batteries, storing and releasing energy. Each cell has a measurable electrical charge and therefore there is a constant energy flow maintained between cells throughout the electrical circuitry of the body.
When damage or trauma occurs, there is a disruption in the production of electricity and a measurable decrease in the flow of energy through the tissues involved. This condition is called electrical resistance and is generally accompanied by a sensation of pain in the area.
During treatment, the Electro-Acuscope introduces a mild electrical current into the cells of the body in order to return the tissue to a normal level of electrical activity. Microcurrent also stimulates the production of endorphins, which are naturally occurring pain suppressors.
While providing beneficial electrical current, the treatment causes the body to improve circulation, produce and more effectively utilize proteins and other nutrients required for cell metabolism and repair. I love this transformation!
“Maybe” has stayed on a general maintenance treatment plan with me for quite awhile now. The kids at TR Stables absolutely adore him during their riding lessons! I am so glad to see him more energetic, moving better, and looking overall happier and healthier in his older age!

What is a Spinal Opening?

Spinal openings address the CNS (central nervous system) by stimulating throughout the spinal cord/column. The stimulation points follow the vertebrae and focus on the nerve roots (where all nerves originate in the body).

If you are a client of mine you have probably seen me do a spinal opening the first day of a start up series. By stimulating the CNS, neurological pathways open throughout the body which allows future treatments to be more effective.

This treatment will stimulate nerves that are dead or pinched to function properly again. It is also used for performance preparation, general well being, patients with nerve conditions, and geriatric patients!
