💥 The Mayor is now BALD! In June, Enumclaw's Mayor Molinaro invited RFWF & POM to participate in his "Clips 4 a Cause" campaign which raised money for both organizations. During this challenging time, RFWF & POM have been meeting extraordinary need while grappling with their own income losses. We were incredibly grateful to be included in this opportunity. Our community graciously gave over $28,700 in support of both organizations!

During these uncertain times, youth need people around them to help them feel safe and supported. With school out, social distancing, and the health and economic impacts families have felt during this pandemic, youth are at high risk of being unstable.
We are currently looking for mentors to help make a positive impact on youth's lives in the Enumclaw Plateau. We've partnered with Enumclaw and White River school districts to match middle schoolers with Big Brothers and Big Sisters in our community.
We currently have six matches in our program, but there are many more youth in need of support. We are also widening our reach to include elementary-age youth, as well.
Mentors are able to meet with youth virtually or socially distance, and the entire volunteer application, interview and training process is done virtually. If you are looking for a way to make a positive impact during these difficult times, please consider volunteering and check out the link for more details!

𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨!!! This community is just absolutely amazing! Your generosity has not ceased. Between POM and Rainier Foothills Wellness Foundation, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 $𝟮𝟴,7𝟬𝟬!! As promised, the Mayor will meet the razor on July 13th, live on ECTV, after the conclusion of the City Council Meeting...around 7:45 p.m. Tune in and watch him go bald!!

One way that RFWF and POM work together is to fight hunger on the Plateau. While POM provides weekly access to food such as produce, meat, dairy, eggs and staples through their food bank, they will encourage families with children to access the RFWF Weekend Backpack Meal program and those without the means to cook for themselves to have a hot meal every week at Full Bellies. At the same time RFWF may refer families from their programs to POM for financial assistance and weekly food bank. Those without homes in our neighborhoods know they can find showers & laundry at POM while receiving a hot meal once a week at Full Bellies. Between the two organizations, our neighbors are being cared for and fed.
