Chakra Sound Healing
Laura & Kirsten invite you into a 75-minute sound journey where vibration becomes medicine.
Through gongs, singing bowls, and voice, we explore how sound moves through the body — awakening resonance within each chakra.
Feel the frequencies.
Rest inside the sound.
Allow the body to realign.

April 12th @ 3:33pm

No matter the backdrop, activity or numbers, we see you...near & far. Showing up for yourself & comm[unity] and that's a commendable mention.
Let your mat, the space, or pin on the map be a reminder that "everywhere you go, there you are." And we love that most!
Let's feel together, grieve together, feel joy together and just be real about it all. There are so many ways you're showing up, you don't have to shout it out, it's in the quiet understanding that when you feel enough, have enough -- you offer enough.
Namastè with every meaning of that word.

This morning we fused Restorative + Kundalini using the mantras Har and Har Har Mukanday.
Why?
Because sound moves energy in a way that posture alone cannot.
HAR is a bija (seed) sound connected to vitality, action, and the navel center — the place of willpower and identity. When we rhythmically chant “Har,” especially with light engagement of the navel, we stimulate the solar plexus region where major nerve plexuses live.

That pulsing sound + breath creates: • gentle abdominal engagement

• stimulation of the vagus nerve
• increased oxygen exchange
• rhythmic regulation of the nervous system

Sound is vibration.
Vibration is measurable.
When we chant in repetition, brain waves begin to synchronize and shift toward alpha/theta states — the place of calm focus and subtle awareness.

Then we layered in:
Har Har Mukanday
A mantra for liberation.
Freedom from inner blocks.
Freedom from outdated patterns.

From a scientific lens, repetitive chanting: • regulates breathing patterns
• increases heart rate variability (a marker of resilience)
• reduces activity in the stress-response centers of the brain
• activates the parasympathetic nervous system

From a yogic lens?
We were clearing the field and strengthening the center at the same time.
Restorative gave the body safety.
Kundalini gave the system charge.
Mantra gave it direction.
This is how we build fire without burnout. 🔥
This is how we restore without collapsing.

Breath.
Sound.
Navel.
Liberation.

If you were there this morning, you felt it.
If you missed it — we’ll do it again. ✨

We aren’t meditating just to become good meditators. Spiritual practice is our opportunity to bring a semblance of harmony and compassion to our lives so that we can then bring that sense of connectivity and love to the world and all we meet. 🧘

Valentine’s Day can be a quiet remembering that the love we seek is also the love we are. 💗
Today, come home to your own heart.
Honor the body that carries you, the breath that steadies you, the spirit that keeps choosing to rise.
Self-love isn’t indulgence—it’s devotion. It’s speaking kindly to yourself, resting when you need, and trusting that you are already worthy of the love you give so freely to others.
May you be your own sacred Valentine—tender, forgiving, and true.
