✨A gentle reminder✨

You cannot pour from an empty cup.

As a massage therapist, single mother, and business owner, my own self-care isn’t optional — it’s essential.

Receiving massage weekly is part of my integrity. I refuse to offer healing from a place of depletion.

Because when I take care of myself first, I feel the difference ripple outward.
I feel it in my body.
I see it reflected back to me.
I hear:
“That was the best massage I’ve ever had.”
“Mommy, thank you for playing with me.”
“Girl! You are glowing!! What are you doing differently?”
-
When I neglect my own needs, my art suffers. My body tightens. My energy thins.
But when I honor myself fully, everything expands.

The truth I keep coming back to is this:
Self-care creates overflow.✨🤍
From that overflow, I have more to give — to my clients, my children, and my life.

And so can you.
When you are deeply cared for, you naturally have more presence, patience, and energy to offer the people and things that matter most.

Carry a lot of tension in your neck & shoulders?
You’re not alone and there are many things you can do between massage appointments to support your body. 🤍

Here are a few simple, effective tips:

1️⃣ Posture matters:
Poor posture is one of the most common contributors to neck and shoulder pain.
• When you’re on your phone, bring it up to your eyes rather than dropping your head down.
• If you work at a desk, aim to keep your neck aligned with your spine.
• A great reset: stand with your back and head against a wall, hold that alignment, and revisit it throughout the day.
Small adjustments — even 1% at a time — add up.

2️⃣ Hydrate. Hydrate. Hydrate. 💧
I can’t stress this enough. When you’re dehydrated, your fascia becomes stiff and restricted. This can limit movement and even cause nerves to feel “trapped,” sending pain signals.
Prioritize water and electrolytes to keep your tissues supple and responsive.

3️⃣ Consistent massage:
Chronic tension doesn’t resolve with one or two sessions. Consistency is key when retraining the muscles and fascia to release long-held patterns. Your body needs repetition and support.

4️⃣ Gentle movement & yoga:
A regular yoga flow or intentional stretching helps maintain flexibility, circulation, and healthy fascial glide. Movement is medicine!! especially for stressed bodies.

Your body works hard for you every day. Supporting it with small, intentional habits makes a world of difference. 🤍
If you’re ready to create lasting relief, I’m here to help.

Your why is what carries you forward on the days you want to quit.

I remember being in massage school, driving 9 hours a week to and from class, then going home at midnight to work my job. I was five months in & everything felt SO heavy. Clinicals had just begun, the homework was intense, I just lost my job and as a single mom, I was exhausted — physically, emotionally, and financially.

One day, I stepped into my campus director’s office.
“I don’t think I can do this anymore.” I said with tears rolling down my cheeks. I was about to go back to working at my old Walmart job & give up on my dream. All in the name of trying to be “realistic”.

She looked at me and said:
“One day, your kids will look back and remember that when things got hard… their mom didn’t quit on her dream.”

That moment stayed with me.

I finished school, walked across the stage to get my diploma, and saw the pride on my kids’ faces; a moment I’ll carry forever.

They say if you want to grow & change your life, you must find your why.
For it will carry you through the darkest of times.

These 4 are my why🤍

Because if I don’t show them what’s possible, the world will be quick to tell them their dreams are unrealistic, impossible & they should just settle.

But I want them to know — deeply — that their dreams are meant for them. That their desire is divine guidance. That ease, support, and expansion meet them when they stay aligned with what calls them forward.

I want them to trust that life responds to courage, that momentum follows belief, and that never giving up opens doors they don’t yet see.

That is my why.

I am finally here🥹

The path here required sacrifice, faith, and a willingness to trust a calling that didn’t always make sense on paper. I had received only one massage in my life when I felt the nudge to leave college and pursue this work—yet the moment I began my training, I knew. My world shifted. I was home.

Massage is my art.
It is where intuition meets skill, where presence becomes medicine.

To be a gentle buffer between a world of overwork, stress, and pain—and a moment of restoration—is a privilege I don’t take lightly. Every session is an invitation back into the body. Back into breath. Back into wholeness.

I love what I do.
I love holding space for people as they soften, reset, and remember themselves.

Grateful beyond words for this room, this work, and the quiet healing that happens here every day.

If you’re feeling called to slow down, reset, and reconnect with yourself, this space is here for you. ✨

The healed version of you is “meaner”

And by “meaner”, I’m simply saying you learn to honor yourself more deeply.

True healing makes you discerning with your energy.

You stop abandoning your own needs to keep connections intact.

You become comfortable being misunderstood because your peace matters more than performing for approval.

Healing aligns you with your intuition.

It strengthens your ability to say no with grace.

It sharpens your standards and protects the vision God placed on your heart.

You stop entertaining what drains you.
You stop allowing low-frequency energy into your space.
You become intentional about who you let close; because your nervous system deserves safety, softness, and respect.

The healed version of you isn’t colder; you’re clearer.
More grounded.
More self-honoring.

This isn’t “being mean.”
It’s the embodiment of self-respect — a natural result of choosing yourself again and again.

And in the wellness world, this is the deepest form of self-care:
Not just massages and spa days (though your body absolutely needs those consistently)...

but the boundaries you hold, the energy you protect, and the commitment you keep to nurturing your mind, body, and spirit.

Your healing is a sacred practice.

Honor it✨

I couldn’t believe it.
When I read the studies about how much we as human beings need touch-AS MUCH AS FOOD- I never saw the work I do the same way.
It’s incredible how deeply our bodies respond to nurturing, intentional touch.
When we don’t receive enough of it, our nervous system starts sending subtle signals that something is missing — not because we’re dramatic, but because we’re human.

✨ We feel more on-edge.
Touch lowers cortisol and tells the body, “You’re safe.” Without it, stress lingers longer than it should.

✨ Loneliness gets louder.
Touch is one of the ways we feel emotionally held, even without words. When it’s missing, connection can feel just out of reach.

✨ We experience “skin hunger.”
A real psychological craving for contact — the same way hunger is a craving for nourishment.

✨ Self-worth can dip.
Nurturing touch reminds us, “You matter. You’re cherished.”
When it’s absent, the heart can start to question what the mind knows is true.

✨ Even the body changes.
Sleep, immunity, and overall well-being are directly tied to healthy, supportive touch.

The beautiful thing?
Our nervous system responds immediately to safe, intentional contact — through massage, grounding touch, warm pressure, breathwork, or even mindful self-soothing.

Touch is a language the body never forgets.
And when offered with care, intention, and presence… it becomes medicine.
