Real self-care is honoring the commitments you make to yourself. It’s reframing your mindset when you really don’t want to show up for that workout.
It’s communicating your needs, standing up for yourself, and creating standards for the life you’re building.
Self-care is boundaries.
It’s choosing environments, habits, and relationships that align with your vision, and releasing the ones that don’t.
Sometimes, along the path, things start to fall away, yet you still feel a deep sense of peace and trust in the unfolding.
That’s growth.
That’s alignment.
Self-care is also being proactive with your energy & not waiting for burnout before you rest. It’s scheduling consistent time to reset your body, nurture your nervous system, and come back to yourself.
